Where would I be able to get the latest policy on geocaching on state land and parks? I was at the Ice Age Trail Visitor’s Center and they gave me a copy of a directive to Park Superintendents issued by McKnelly dated 2002. In this, it states a $25 fee along with a completed permit application. I’m hoping this policy has changed since then. I talked to a ranger at Lake Wissota Park and he never mentioned a $25 fee.

I think you can find the answer here.

    Or, better yet… here.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure if the DNR or some other agency made the policies for all the state parks and land. I’ll have to let them know that there is more current info they should obtain.
