Their bowling balls don’t fit.
Probably for the same reason they put candy, cough drops, gum, broken toys, etc. Pulled candy and gum out of 3 caches last week. I am sure that bear and raccoon are not as numerous in some places as they are around us, but critters can do quite number on a cache.
Timberline Echoes
Because they can easily be recycled in a cache instead of filling a dump*.
*Now improperly called a “sanitary landfill.”
My Dad collects the ones from different courses. They have differents logos on them. He has quite a collection going. So to him it would be a find to get one that he did not have. I can uderstand your problem if they are only the kind that have titelist 5 or something like that.
Is that what you do with golf balls?! Wow, that’s a great idea. I have about half a dozen I have picked up walking to and from caches. Been sitting around here for over a year, some of them. I think I’ll go caching this monring …….
There always seem to be golf balls near a cache. These are not usually something that a person would bring with them for trading purposes. I found a dozen alone while doing “For the Dogs” cache in Green Bay!
