    Check this out…

    It’s always interesting to see how we are being viewed by the rest of the world.

    The article brings up some very good points. Especially about the amount of traffic a remote area can handle without making a permanent mark on the land.

    With that said, I tend to agree with the comment near the end. I do believe that Geocaching makes the public more aware of the environment and more apt to support publicly funded conservation efforts in the future.

    Interesting. Some of these types of articles are written by people who have actually cached. Others are not. It always seems to me that the ones most critical of our sport are those who have never done it. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could take each of them on a weekend adventure?!

    Props for the mention of CITO! The National Parks info is 3 years old though. Diggin? There’s no digging in Geocaching!

    All in all, I guess it’s not a bad article…we’ve seen worse!
