What ever happened to the day when a topic was found on only one page? For many of us, it’s hard to find time to get online to see what’s going on. When we have to filter through countless pages about the same topic it becomes frustrationg and some of us just give up and close down the boards.
I understand that there are times when a topic has been discussed and then people moved on. At some later point someone else brings it up and we’re on it again.
But this thing about the same topic being listed by the same person on several pages is silly! By changing the wording in the subject heading, they think it changes the whole thing. BUT IT DOESN’T!!! It’s still the same! STOP LISTING YOUR TOPICS ON DIFFERENT PAGES!!! PLEASE!!!

So, you created what your complaining about.

Actually, I brought it up on another thread, but I looked and couldn’t find another page dedicated to this topic. If I missed it, sorry…post the link and I’ll move my comments there. If this is the first page for the topic…I’m leaving it.

I stand corrected. (see how wasy it is to say that?)

…may I suggest that we either delete, merge, or close some of the threads referencing the coins? I am happy that there is a coin in the works, and will spend my share of (Bob’s) money…hee! hee!…on them, but there are WAY too many threads about the coins. Remeber the good old days when we were only allowed to mention a topic on ONE page?

I totally agree and tried to delete the treads but it won’t let me. One of the administrators need to do so.**my opinion here** (be prepared)
As far as only one thread I agree but not. If the topic and subject are the same it should only be one thread. But if the topic or subject changes a new thread should be started to prevent confusion and also lets people know it’s different.Example…
The coin threads are all the same topic, the coin. However, each thread is a different subject. As you can see some of them ran 50+ posts and would be way to much for someone to read a 50+ posts thread with 3 different subjects.
The multiple threads about the coin to me (see personal opinion) keep peoples comments were they belonged. One place for people to submit ideas, other for comments, and another to vote.
If we did only one topic one tread then all the congratulations to people should be in one thread not one per person. (just as example)
Yes it does create quite a few threads. Does it help reduce confusion? To me yes.
Does admin want me to stop making new threads for each subject?
Wait this thread was about coins should you have not put it inside another one?
**** My opinion stops here***
Until this coin project came up I usually keep my post very minimal, not to mention I only been posting things here for a short while and still learning the unwritten rules.
My 2cents worth since this was mainly about all the threads I created.

FYI- If you own the first post of the thread, deleting it removes the entire thread.

Well I tried this before about a week ago and did not work. I tried again today and it worked. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to try again.IP: Logged
