I’m sure some of you out there use firefox as your web browser. i also am sure some of you have already seen this plugin, just thought i would share with those of you that had not seen it. by default firefox has a search built in in the upper right, with this plugin you can do some pretty nice cache searches. the only problem i found with this plugin is when you update firefox to a newer version, you’ll sometimes loose this plugin and have to re-install it. http://xca.auscstrike.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=GQS&file=index

i would also like to say that if i let my browser remember my geocaching.com username and password, and i search a zipcode with the plug in, i only see caches that i don’t own or havn’t done already. basicly this is useless but kinda cool!

Thanks for the tip….lately everything I’ve been doing is only supported in IE, so I’m happy to find something to make my fav browser work better. PQ

I love firefox extentions, they are probably one of the main reasons I use firefox over IE 7 or opera 9.
installed greasemonkey and all the scripts, and found that i can access these under tools, manage scripts. at first I wasn’t seeing how to use these or any difference, but after looking at a cache listing i now see how this basicly added more info to the listing page!
I downloaded greasemonkey once before but didn’t really understand what i could do with it. now i will have to bust out my portable firefox 1.5 (USB thumb drive) and install greasemonkey and scripts on that one too…. this is great thanks for the info

after playing with these scripts more i found out where all but two are showing info.
the script GC bookmark buttons and geocaching map linker are the ones I’m not sure about. any help?
NEVER MIND>>>> i see now that the scripts pages tells where each one is added.
