Looks like we got at least 12 inches in Two Rivers. Wanted to go caching in West Bend on Sunday but looks like they got 10.5 inches. Have to suffer and go XC skiing instead!!

    Who else got buried???

We got 9.5″ and they closed work for me at noon. After shoveling out my driveway and sidewalk (the snowblower only made it through the driveway & then started to smoke…) I sat at home ALL DAY (yuck!) Started moving around furniture — I was THAT bored!

13.1″ here in Green Bay. The last time we had this much snow fall in the month of February was in 1986.

Caching should still be good here in the Kenosha area. Maybe 1/2″ of new powder, mostly just blowing around.

To bad, there is something about the -15° temperatures to come just say “stay home”.

wow….quite the extremes across the state. I know what you went thru Greyhounder. I had to do our drive, and my moms…with 3 foot drifts and her drive plowed in at over 3 feet high and probably a good 5 foot deep into the street. 3.5 hrs later I am done with both.. and off the CX Ski for 3.5 miles. Hey…if ya can’t cache…go and enjoy the snow!! Wind REALLY picked up on my way out of Point Beach S.P. after my ski run. Had done all the caches there already LOL

Attempting XC ski at a couple Co. Parks in West Bend…have to see if there are caches in any of those places. Love combining 2 sports into one! Think I am going to pass on the Micros in the snow THIS time!!

Should be an awesome ski run for the NorthWoods get-together. Took a look at the 10 day forecast…hope they aren’t right. It is suppose to be about 36 up in those parts. A bit too warm for waxless skis. GREAT for caching though. Heard there is a Sauna there….any chances there is a Hot Tub on the property too????

10″ of snow yesterday and 7 degrees today, on the lake side of the railroad tracks in Port Washington … we have two climates here, east of the tracks and west of the tracks … so I can’t speak for the “warm” west side.

I just got off the train from Chicago and I can tell you they had no snow to speak of down there. I was very surprised to see that. Back up here in Mequon we had about 10″.

FuFu, don’t worry about the temps much. Alot of those ski trails are in heavily forested areas and don’t get much sun. We went skiing in January with temps in the mid 30s and there was no problems. There is a big ski event up there this weekend so the trails will be nice and groomed.

Grab some stuff for the sauna – its a GREAT time (and will be a virtual cache too). No hot tub though. But a roll in the snow after sitting in the sauna is very refreshing!

We got 10 inches in the Sparta/Lacrosse area. Thank God it is the nice dry fluffy snow instead of the wet stuff!!

Welcome to our world… snow, snow and more snow…. We only received a few inches this week. We kind of chuckled at the slow down of caching activity this week. Snow has not slowed us down just the lack of caches in the area.

Here is a pic of me caching near Newberry, MI that my wife took of me…BEFORE the big storm came through last week. Sorry to say, we didn’t find this cache. I was wishing for a snow shovel as we were out at the site. It was definitely a fun DNF though.
