I have been sifting through the tons of e-mail I am now receiving, after the Egg-Stravaganza. I have received numerous from families that are new, with snmall kids and those who have been caching with little ones for a while. I received this touching e-mail today from Team Hemisphere Dancers and asked if I may post it. Their reply was:

“Go right ahead if it helps others overcome a disability then we all will win.”

Their original e-mail was as follows:

“Just wanted to send you a note on my thoughts of your event.

I had a great time. I started Caching around Christmas(guess what I
got) anyway I have been out doing this and always wanted to include the
rest of the family. We would go out for about 2-3 hours just around
Appleton. I brought up going to this event not thinking that we would all go
but she(wife) decided why not. I was still wondering at that point how the
rest were going to handle a full day like today was.

Well it was sort of tough going for the little ones but the hung in
there and kept chugging along. The reason that I am rambling on about the day is that our youngest has got a bad leg and has no movement in her ankle at this time. But it didn’t seem to bother her too much, as long
as my shoulders were empty. But I was unsure how they would all handle
it. They were extremely excited when we got home and wanted to go back
to the “Egg Store” tommorrow. As for my wife she seemed to really take
an interest in setting up caches and doing this a lot more. With the
special needs I have with my 2 little ones, they have shown me that they
can do this. I now do beleive that we do have an activity that we can do
together.

I told them that all the hrs of placing caches, the money spent and the lack of sleep, make it more than worthwhile, when you hear comments like this.
