    How many caches do you have within the 100 miles of your home coordinates? You can find that info from your Account page on GC.Com. Click on the filter finds option.

    Currently 2310 unfiltered
    1067 filtered
    1/2 mile – closest to do (from January!)

    and a paltry 7 left within 50 miles.

    I remember that a little over a year ago, there were none left within about 25 miles of me to find (of course I’m on the big lake’s edge so that rules out one direction). But now …

    301 to find within 25 miles
    3173 to find within 100 miles

    3376 TOTAL within 100 miles

    PS Marc, you have too much time on your hands.

    No, Tami, I do not have enough time on my hands!

    I tried to find some last Sunday by turning the clocks forward early, but that did not go over very well. I’ll try again next weekend.

    BTW, Tami, who did all that higher math for you? Dane? Tait? Oh, wait, I remember, that’s what husbands are for!

    Within 10 miles 168

    The closest one left for us is 2.7 miles

    These numbers have changed by a factor of 10 over the past 4 years.
    We have a lot of work to do!

    Here in Eau Claire, I have 2638 available within 100 miles.

    Filtering out finds and owned, I have 1378 available within 100 miles, and about 1200 of those are metro Twin Cities.

    I have just one to find within 40 miles, a new one placed 15 miles away last week. I have 16 to find within 50 miles.

    Interesting thread, Marc, though ya know, it aint bout the numbers. 😉

    Well our numbers break down like this:

    Within 100 miles = 4508
    Filtered = 4129 (YIKES!!!)

    Within 10 miles = 101
    Filtered = 26

    I’m begining to think that we have a lot of work ahead of us!!
