I’m not sure this is the best place to ask this, but since it’s a problem specific to state of Wisconsin DNR maps, I’m hoping there is a geocacher in Wisconsin who has solved it.

Do you (or anyone you know) have experience using a specific mapping program called OziExplorer? If so, have you downloaded DRG images of Wisconsin 1:24,000 topo maps from the Wisconsin DNR website, and calibrated them for use in OziExplorer?

I’ve been using this software, and have had good results with it for geocaching. However, it’s a major hassle to calibrate the WI DNR DRG’s for OziExplorer. This can be done quickly and easily with maps from Illinois, Indiana, California, Texas, etc, etc., but I haven’t figured out a way to automate the procedure with images downloaded from Wisconsin!

Perhaps there is a geocacher who is using Ozi, who has figured out a efficient way to calibrate the WI DRG maps. Please share the secret!

    Thanks… GL
