      I hate to trumpet the accomplishments of someone who I frequently cache with, but it seems no one else is so here goes. Last weekend Piwko Kurczak hit the 1000 mark at the oldest active geocache in the state, Pike Powder Hike (GC3B1).

      Just during the last month he has added 200+ finds to his total. Even more impressive, he also added 50 odd WI counties to get to 72. He also found at least one cache a day for 31 (or more?) days straight… a remarkable streak. He is definitely making the most of his brief period of freedom. 😉

            😀 Very cool Keith! How are the legs holding up, I’m sure they are full of scratches like Jeremy. I see that someone found the Rock Lobster cache after you guys fixed it; I’m sure other cachers appreciate that very much. Hope to see you at the WGA picnic on 8/19/06.                 O hope this one is still around when I get that many finds. Tha’d be a great one for 1000. But I’d settle for 400 or 500.

                    Thanks everybody! It was great meeting most of you on the Gauntlet weekend. I had a great run this summer while my wife was out of the country, I just met her in Poland and did a cache last week (GCQ320). Completing all of the WI counties was something that came to mind when I realized it was possible in 5 days (spread out of course)! Jeremy and I put thousands of miles on the Highlander and I wish we had looked at the DeLorme idea a couple months ago! I had a blast and found some great caches with some great people!
