Hello all,
Let me introduce myself. I’m John, I love to bike, hike, I’m into home brewing and am working on hiking the entire IAT (Ice Age Trail) here in Wisconsin. I have been interested in geocaching for some time. but didn’t know how to get going. To help me out on some of the more remote hikes I have planned this year, one of Santa’s elves told me I was getting a GPS for the holidays. WHOOHOO somebody loves me 😀 .
Anyway, I was looking to join a group or be involved with a group of people with the same interests. I live in Sheboygan but don’t driving.
My hiking trail name is yaboo. Hope to meet some of you soon
Happy Holidays
Welcome to geocaching, yaboo. There are quite a few caches along the Ice Age Trail, so ya can combine visiting the Ice Age Trail with geocaching. Hope to meet ya out on the trails.

Welcome! If you ever head down to the southeast WI/Northeast IL corner, theres a fantastic group of folks here!
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Geocaching.
I know of quite a few caches just off of the IAT as it passes through the Kettle Moraine State Forest Southern Unit. Great caches and scenery. Feel free to ask questions. There are many people that are willing to help across the State. Hope to meet you on the trails someday.
That is an interesting goal you have set for yourself. I would be interested in your progress.
I was reading my intro and I meant to say I don’t mind driving. As far as the IAT goes I have almost 300 miles logged. I plan on doing the southern half from whitewater to westbend this spring
Hey John, from one home brewer to another – welcome!
And another welcome from another Home Brewer
I used to drink home brew. If that counts. I know the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine if I can be of any assistance.
