With no school on Monday and cabin fever setting in, we decided to go do the new “Island” cache on Lake Neshonoc. Well, I was all for dropping in the geocoin and getting back into the warmth, but Trekkin’ wanted to check out the contents despite the risk of frostbite. Good thing. Of all things, inside the container was a joint! 😯
I think there might be some happy carp in the lake once it thaws! Our guess was someone stashed it there for later. We haven’t had any FTFs, but that was our first to find anything like that!
Doesn’t look like we’ll be getting out to do any caching for at least another week. Trekkin’ thinks it will be a good idea to go sleep in a snowbank with some of his historical trekking friends this weekend. Better him than me!
