I highly suggest taking a visit to

Long Tail Point Lighthouse 1899 &

    Long Tail Point Lighthouses 1859 & 1848

while the weather is still below zero. This is quite an adventure crossing over 1.5 miles of frozen water. I was glad to hear that it was at LEAST 20 inches thick! LOL It was the neatest thing, approaching the lighthouse and once there, finding the caches no problem. Would be a fun place to visit in the warmer weather too, but this was much more of an adventure.

Anyone want to rent some sleds and do this one?

If you walk, ice cleats are highly recommended.

Looks like a great location. Would these be do-able with sea kayaks in the summer?

We just did this one as well. It was a very good walk with lots too see. This cache was by far the most challenging from a physical level, but well worth it.

I would say in summer you would have a great bet using a canoe or kayak.
