I’m curious, can we log unapproved caches as found? This may seem like a silly question but, if we cannot we have just lost one of our benefits of being a premium member. I’m not complaining, just curious. Don’t like giving anything up without explanation. If you don’t know what I’m talking about all new caches listed today are unapproved yet I get a notification and they are listed everywhere. I’m sure I’m overlooking a practical reason for this. Any feedback will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ed

I know what you are talking about Ed. Sometimes the GC.com notification program gets ahead of the approval program. Unless the owner “disables” it at the last minute, these will go into approved status shortly. You can obviously go find it if you have the coordinates; you just have to wait for the approval to log it. (And of course, you risk getting to the wrong coordinates when someone makes a last minute correction (which never happens in SE Wisconsin, right?))

Thanks Deejay for your prompt response.I ws just not sure if I missed something.I hope this didn’t appear as an attack on the approvers. I know they have their hands full.I had a feeling this one would go through, they told me at bong my cache was the second one they approved today. Hint. Hint.

I emailed about that and this was the reply:

It’s a temporary condition. The servers in that have the names of the caches are different from the servers that have the details for speed purposes. They got out of sync and they are catching up as we ‘speak’. The correct title will appear there soon.

    Peace
