    March 3rd, 2007
At the Claridge Clubhouse in Rhinelander. 7-11 PM.

We’ve been working hard, teaching newbies how to geocache, and placing new caches around the Northwoods. We’ve got 18 new caches set to appear on March 1st.

So we need a little down-time.

I was going to spend Saturday evening, March 3rd, at the Claridge Clubhouse with just my brother-in-law. Pete & Joel are scheduled to play that night from 7-11.

But since you might be in our area, finding new geocaches, I thought I’d invite you to stop by.

Meet some fellow geocachers. Greet some fellow geocachers.

We’re just planning on enjoying cold beverages and live music while swapping stories about searching and hiking. But if you’ve got any ideas throw ’em out there.

And hopefully we’ll make some new friends.

Never been that far up yonder. I think I may have to put that on my calendar and if I am available and weather holds….a day trip might be in order!!

Hope you make it Fu, we have been telling you that you need to find out what “up North” really is, so now is your chance.

I tried to set up an event cache, but apparently they have to be posted at least two weeks before the event.
We’re still on, though. So come on up. We’ll be there.

Well, I’m the brother in law that 2_Stand refers to. So I will be there. See you then

In the back of my mind, I thought a little bit of snow would be nice to hide our original tracks…

Well anyways, with lots of teamwork, we’re underway.

After heading out to find a few caches tomorrow, we’ll be going over to the Claridge Clubhouse to relax. Hope to see you there.

We had about a dozen people show up last night. Some of us had helped put out the new caches. Some of my team members. And some curious people – some had cached a little, had friends who cached.

Pete & Joel put on a good show. We had a few good rounds of trivia, and talked about trekking through the snow.

Now I know about events, and I can prepare a little better next time. And maybe we’ll get better weather.
