    WANTED:
Ideas for the 2007 WGA Campout T-shirt logo

We are going to be offering t-shirts, hoodie sweatshirts and crew sweatshirts for sale again this year for the campout and we are looking for ideas as to what we can print on the front of them.

    Win a free t-shirt!
We will be awarding one free t-shirt to the person submitting the winning design. The winning design will be chosen by the campout committee and the WGA Board of Directors from all of the submissions.

With the vendor we have chosen to print the shirts we can have up to 6 colors in the logo plus the color of the shirt itself. The vendor has also agreed to work with us on finalizing the artwork, so even a rough sketch of your ideas would work.

Deadline for submissions: April 12, 2007 at 11:59 PM
The winner will be announced shortly after the deadline.

The campout is being held at: Hartman Creek State Park
The campout dates are: May 18th ~ May 20th

You can e-mail submissions or questions to: wga2 admin@wi geocaching com

You can also post your submissions for all to see in the campout forum

    Good Luck to all!

If you have questions, you can post them here, or you can contact me directly at the above e-mail address or via a personal message.

This is the winning design from the last time we had the campout at Hartman Creek can be found here.

We have gotten several quotes and have tentatively settled on a place that is going to print up T-shirts, Crew Sweatshirts, and Hooded Sweatshirts (hoodies).

A single printed color would be the least expensive. They can print up to 6 colors, and that would be the most expensive. 6 color printing will drive the cost up about $3 per shirt over 1 color printing.

I like the shirt you have pictured. Just write “Riddler was here WGA 2007” and were all set! ๐Ÿ˜€

How about a stick figure lifting up the edge of a tent to find a film can?

I am not much of an artist so maybe someone can help with the scetch.

How about a picture of a cacher hiding behind a big tree on the opposite side of a creek. While a band of muggles are walking past?

Please forgive the crudeness as I’m not a graphic artist. This is my vision for the front. The back would contain the reverse image of the state (if it doesn’t look to odd) and specific information like WGA Camp-out and the date etc…I will work on that part later as I’m fairly tired and in need of sleep.

I believe the pricing structure is based on a one-sided design. So, you can sleep twice as long, now. ๐Ÿ™‚

OK here’s my (one sided) submission. Please delete my last picture.

Kinda basic, but it gets the message across.

๐Ÿ˜ณ Ok… I know the artwork is bad, but you get the idea.

Nice work Decrepit. That’s obviously a dog and not a badger. I’ve seen the badger. ๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿ˜€ Well, I can honestly say I draw better with a pencil and paper than I do with a computer and a mouse.
