Just to let ya all know that WI Robin (aka “onesearching2find” or “that hottie over there with Zuma”) found her 1000th cache today. I had the pleasure of being along for the trip. She found it on a 6 stage multi, that took us on a long walk in a beautiful park near Mahtomedi, MN.
I didnt think we would get her milestone today when we went out, cuz she needed 30 today to hit it, and we knew she had to quit at 4pm to go to work. But we ran into a lot of good luck, no DNFs, and 29 quick finds before going for the long one for the final.
Please join me in offering big congrats on 1K!!!

Good thing you ditched that Bad Mojo coin earlier. 😉

Keep on caching.

03/16/2007 at 5:13 am #1871439Thanks for all the nice thoughts everyone! It’s amazing that it took me this long to reach 1000 caches considering the very first “date” I went on with Ralph (otherwise known as Zuma), we went geocaching (Now if you know him, you really can’t be surprised 😉 ). Our “dates” still mainly consist of at least a little bit of geocaching when I am able to sneak away from my work and family obligations. Trust me, I am not complaining! When first met I told him I didn’t think it would work for us to go out, our lives where just too different. But geocaching sounds interesting. You could take me out geocaching sometime………… It’s worked out well and I guess different is good, at least this time it turned out to be! 😀 Thanks to Zuma for placing my “1000th cache” cache. It was published tonight and I hope to find it tomorrow with my 5 year old son. I have found some interesting caches, but what has made my best memories have been the people, the places and the journey. I hope finding the next 1000 caches is as much fun as finding the last 1000 has been!!
