I’m looking at a used Garmin GPS 60 to buy as a possible backup unit. Does anyone have a suggested price? Just the used unit, no cable, extra mapping or manual. You Magellan guys need not comment. LOL Thanks, Da Bloodhound 😀
DB:
Scheels in Appleton was closing the GPS 60 for 139.99 This unit will not do mapping. It is the yellow one. I do beleive it has 2mb of memory for waypoints from the garming waypoint manager CD. This is a great Unit though if you just want a basic GPS. Benny7210 has one, and has found a ton of caches!!!!!
The 139.99 price included everything.
I woudn’t mind picking one up myself, but the Scheels in Appleton is out. You might be able to have them order you one, or at another store though..
Hope this helps
Justin
the yellow one is not a 60. i have seen the 60c advertised for around $250. but i have one that i am going to be selling for $225, includes the mapping program.

Yes there is a yellow 60 series and it isn’t much more money than the yellow etrex…. but does give you more options for hooking it to the PC(USB).
