04/16/2007 at 10:48 pm #1872682Interesting indeed!
Wisconsin appears very well represented. Just looking at the numbers, the number with over 1k is going to go way up this year. It is heartening that we seem to be a friendly bunch — I’ve really enjoyed running into other cachers on the trail.
The two places that jump out are Holland and Tennessee. Consider how little public land they have in the Netherlands.

Hey Marc 5 digits… How many in Hawaii and Alaska??
04/17/2007 at 5:35 am #1872684Alaska = 4, Hawaii = 3. Lots of geocachers in Alaska, but the cache are much farther apart than we are used to here. Not that many cachers in Hawaii.
You can check your self by clicking on the Grand High Pobah link on the left side of the page.
