I just wanted to tell you that the Princess loves your touch stones πŸ˜€

They are are now officially part of her “treasure” as she plucked some out of LL: November yesterday πŸ™‚

πŸ˜€ Thanks Crystal! Tell Princess they were created as special “treasures”. Had a rough day yesterday sitting in Divine Savior Hospital all day with a friend of ours in emergency surgery, so thanks for making my day brighter today. I still have one to go on the LL series. Hope to meet you on the trails. Carol πŸ˜€

Aww, so sorry to hear of your friend, I hope everything turns out alright!

Glad we could make your day a bit brighter πŸ™‚

The Princess is totally into this “hunting for buried treasure” as she calls it πŸ˜€

We’ve done only 5 of the 12 LL, but we plan to finish it (hopefully by summer’s end) Some are very close to our house — I think either Feb or Jan will be next πŸ™‚

Hope to meet you on the trails, too πŸ˜‰

Thanks for the well wishes for our friend, off to see him again, this evening. πŸ˜€ He hit a deer on his 1969 500 Triumph last Thursday evening in the Hartland/Wales area. Was unconscious, some good samaritan called 911, when he came too at the hospital, he was told he had a broken collar bone and cracked ribs and was sent home from the hospital. Actually turns out his spleen had been bleeding. And it was fortunate he stayed with us this weekend so I could get him to the hospital in time. He had 2 pints of blood removed from around his organs along with his spleen. If you read Thread Stealers a while back, he was the one with the bright idea to fill our well worn pick-up tire up to 55 psi and throw it on the fire after a few too many Guiness Extra Stouts. The rim now sits as the base to our mailbox as a reminder. He is definitely one of a kind and a great storyteller around our fire pit. He is hoping to get out in time for the races at Elkhart on Sunday. So keep wishing him well! πŸ˜€

Yowza! Lucky he has such great friends to help keep him safe!
I bet he has a million and one campfire stories lol

Does he race his motorcycles then?

He did race back in the 80’s. On his Norton at Elkhart Lake Road America, Blackhawk Farms, and the circuits involved with those venues. I have a great photo of him with Willie G. Davidson. Then he got into guns. Competition shooting. Now he’s back into motorcycles. Into Ice Racing and now motorcrossing with my husband. They just were at “The Ranch” in South Dakota with our neighbor who is friends with Peter Egan from Cycle World and a whole bunch of riders. Egan was there too, so I’m hoping to possibly see an article on their mini-vacation. I would consider our friend the spark at the end of the tunnel. Always has a good joke. Keep wishing him well and thanks for asking. Hoping to get back to caching soon…I see all of these creative caches popping up in the area.
