Okay, so to clarify what has been floating around out there…
The coins are in at the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in Eau Claire. The plan HAD been to hand out at the camp out. However, since there were no registrants for the event or camping, the event was cancelled. (I am not getting into a debate about whether it was well publicised or not. I ran across the announcements in two different places for the camput and need for pre-registration, and no, I was not coordinating it. But then, that’s just me…)
That said, the coins are available to the first 500 who turn your passbook in with at least 1 find. You can also make arrangements for mailing by contacting the CVB directly.
Thanks for those that came and hunted. There was good turn-out!!!
8) I received my beautiful Chippewa Valley geocoin in the mail today.
Thanks to everyone who had a hand in it. Tami
My coin came today, also. But “Old” and “Tonta” are still waiting for theirs. Hmmm… I sent all the sheets in on the same day.

Now you know who they like and who they don’t…… 😆
I will finally be able to get up there and find a few. (Actually, I already found one, but I didn’t have a book to punch with me.) Are there still coins to be had and can I pick up a book at the convention center?
Yep. There are still coins there. Go get em!!!
