It looks like there will be at least 10 – 15 Wisconsin geocaching Teams at the Midwest Geobash. I am wondering if there is interest in those attending in a Wisconsin meet and greet???? I am thinking of something simple, like a campire with beer and stories.
Is there interest from the other folks who will be attending this on something like this? I am open to other ideas as well.

06/05/2007 at 11:57 pm #1875543I so love FIRE…you can keep the beer. My 9 year old son and I would love to hang with ya’s.
06/06/2007 at 12:21 am #1875544Ok then, we will plan on meeting any and all Cheeseheads at Geobash Friday evening (the first night of camping) at Zuma’s campsite for beer and fire, say at 8:00. The complete schedule for the event is not posted yet, but it looks like the provided dinner is over at 7:00, and they are planning some kind of entertainment, so plans may have to be modified, but that is the proposal at this point. Other ideas welcome.
Looking forward to geobash.
(I cant tell from their website, how many temps we can log to pad our numbers, so maybe we can log each bottle of beer we drink?) 😉

06/06/2007 at 2:34 am #1875546I think you should be able to log each ounce of beer you drink!!!!
Zumas campfire sounds like a great meeting time….

Yum! For those not in the know, “Alpha” is the measure of bittering units in barley pop.

It refers to the amount of Alpha Acid in the hops. Bitterness comes from how much hops, % of AA is in the hops, and how long it was in the boil prior to being cooled and fermented.
Sorry it was an obsession of mine once.

You can force me to drink it if ya want. I can take it. Just don’t make me pay for it. I have yet to pay for Canoe Beer.
06/08/2007 at 3:11 am #1875552What the heck is Canoe Beer? Does this have anything to do with Mr. Canoehead?

I’m now planning to make it to the event. I’m too late to register but they told me to come on over anyway. Where will the WGA’ers be hanging out?
