This was a really great surprise! I went caching near where I grew up (well for the first 9 years or so anyway) and low and behold there was a waterfall! I just wanted to share the pics I took and to recommend this location. GC134VH While it is close to a park and grab, you will feel like you are a hundred miles away when you are at the falls…….

Just to clarify .. Greenfield Park is a Milwaukee County Park located in the City of West Allis. It is not in the City of Greenfield .. it is on Greenfield Ave.
We get tons of calls at the City of Greenfield Parks & Recreation Dept DAILY about Greenfield Park and Cool Waters thanks to the folks at directory assistance who also can not figure it out.

My bad. I meant to type “on” Greenfield. Oh well add me to the list of those dealing out misinformation…..
It would be swell if an ADMIN could change the thread title to “A Waterfall on Greenfield Ave.? Visit Greenfield Park Falls” Hopefully that will help to avoid any confusion I have caused.
😳
Thank you!!
Actually, in the history of the City of Greenfield, the boundaries at one time did reach from S 124th to S 27th, from Greenfield Ave to College Ave.

This is the great thing about geocaching! Seeing new things. 😀
Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but those falls are made out of concrete, not cool looking eroded rocks. If you look closely behind the “rocks”, you can see right-angles where the forms were.
It’s cool anyway.

Next you’ll say that Santa and the Easter Bunny aren’t real…….
Illusion is nice. While it was obviously man made, that didn’t take away from the beauty of the location.
