Hey, zuma! Happy Birthday!!!! Enjoy the gifts!!!!
06/20/2007 at 4:16 pm #1876271I saw those pop up last night, maybe we’ll grab some of those gifts on our way up to Robin’s bash on Saturday.
Happy 39th, Zuma! 😉
06/20/2007 at 5:24 pm #1876272Well, dang! Another year has gone by, and caching has made Zuma a year (or quite a few!) younger!
06/21/2007 at 2:18 am #1876273Congrats Zuma now you are the same age as I am?
06/21/2007 at 2:27 am #1876274Still a bunch older than Me!!!!!
Just kidding O’ Cardinal of Fire!!!!!
06/21/2007 at 8:12 am #1876275He’s not so old that he didn’t want to start finding the caches as soon as they came out – around 1am 🙄 . (Thanks Wis Kid – I was hoping to be able to get some sleep 😉 ) I did finally convince him that going out in the middle of the night was fool hardy at best!! I still don’t think he slept much thinking about all those FTF opps that where just sitting out there waiting for him.
Despite my little comment I do really have to thank Wis Kid and Cheese Wis – they where great about letting me in on the progress of everything and approving all of those caches! I also want to thank all of the cache placers who helped my HBZ 51 possible – Da Bloodhound, Doc, Dcrand, Mama Kat, Kent1915, EC-JEMS, Bandits, Spike007, Roaming Pack, lagrac, jchaas, Bobcat, jenhen and last, but not least drhaas!! You are all wonderful!!! It was really fun to have a group effort cache. I hope you all eventually will be able to find HBZ 51 – trust me, it’s in a spot that’s worth the effort! Thank you all for helping to make Zuma’s B-day fun!
06/21/2007 at 2:29 pm #1876276We add our congrats for meeting another Milestone!!!
TE06/21/2007 at 2:33 pm #1876277Okay Robin, knowing the location of HBZ-51 and what you just said, I almost think I can guess where it is! Add “mountain lion” to your rattlesnake warnings. We were hiking up there and saw tracks. The park rangers didn’t want to admit to it, but there have been rare sightings out there. This was about 17 years ago, though.
Would actually make for a cool caching story if someone saw one! We look forward to beginning to find some of these this weekend! So how many of the FTFs did you get, zuma?
06/23/2007 at 3:32 am #1876278Thanks for all the bday congrats.
It has been an eventful week for me, so I apologize for my slowness in logging caches, answering emails and checking the forums.
After finding the Iowa Delorme with Team Honeybunnies on Saturday, we started the Illinois Delorme on Sunday, then Monday I started the search for Bandit’s slugs (only to be beat out by the Wausau Mafia, then I fell out of a tree (only a few feet) and twisted my knee bad, then Wednesday I “had” to go out and look for the new “Miles” caches that Robin and colleagues put out, and then today I had to spend the day with my mom since her brother died in a house fire on Thursday. Plus I had to work a couple of 13 hour days. Needless to say, I need a day off. Oh, and tommorrow there is Robin’s event at my house….I suppose I need to clean the toliet too. 🙂
Anyway, thanks for the congrats, and I am almost caught up, which is even better than turning 39.
