Where do we get one of those maps that tracks the counties in which we’ve found caches. I’ve tried a variety of searches and looked around on the site here, but it’s kinda like a micro in the woods, I guess!

Or my personal non-favorite, rock pile hides. 🙄

There’s the awesomely fantastic creation by an amazing, intelligent, and dare I say, good looking geocacher which can be found at http://www.inatn.com/

I particularly like the color shading option to show which counties you’ve found the most caches in. I guess I must be more of a visual person.

Thanks, that’s what we wanted! Now as to all the descriptive words, well, until we meet along the caching trail sometime, I’ll just have to take your word on them! 😉

Don’t take his word for it. His picture is in his profile. 😆

I would love to use that map (mine, obviously) in my profile, but I can only seem to find the HTML code for the the country and not the counties. Would LOVE to use the one with the county names and the shading by count! Am I missing something? I tried linking to the image source but once the stats are unloaded they disappear. I am only semi-HTML literate so I may be doing something completely wrong. Could some one help me out? Pretty please?

        Thanks!

        Sara,

Look at Dave’s sight for your county map. Check the instructions on the page.

Then check out the WGA Help forum for how to post a picture.

You can’t link directly to the images on the site. You need to save the map to your computer, then upload the image somewhere (the webspage your ISP gives you, GC.com or WGA galleries, Photobucket, etc.) and link to it there.
