Now that we are into the Jeep season for over a month. How are the Jeeps moving. I have 3 in my possession which will be moved shortly and I have placed one in a cache, “You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille.” (GCJWPT)

But then again I gave up even trying to get Jeeps….the collectability and subsequent scarcity of them has really turned me off from even seeking them out. I don’t think even if one showed up at the nearest cache to my home I’d get off my butt to go get it.
I don’t know why, but they just don’t excite me as much this year. We got one in the mail, and have seen several in caches and left them for others. Seems there are quite a few more out there this year.
We placed ours in one of our caches, and get this….it was retrieved by someone visiting the area named “redjeepguy.” He took it back to OK and placed it in the “Red Jeep TB Hotel.” How cool is that?
We retrieved one other one and moved it on. We have seen a couple others and left them for others.
We’ve had 9 of the little buggers. Like others, we really aren’t that excited about them (although we will pick them up to move along when we see them).
We’ve had a few. I’m not that excited about them either. Maybe the dazzle has finally worn off. Then again it could be the color – I was hoping for blue! *shrugs*
I put mine out and sent one up to Alaska with elfdoctors to put out. I have tried to recover 3 but someone seems to beat me to them. I only found 1-2 green jeeps last year.
Hi have found 17, but about half of those have been at events. Having them at events takes a bit of the fun out of finding them in a cache, because it makes the find less special.
Just the one I received in the mail. I did find one in a cache last week, but there was a geocoin there too. I didn’t want to be greedy by taking both so I left it behind.
Just the one I got last month, and I still have not placed it. It will be making it’s debut this weekend in my cache The Rooten Staircase as soon as I can get out to replace it. Yeah, it was muggled. It had a coin in it too. I’m starting to wonder if the cache was taken because of the coin.
I have found one and was sent one. That is one more than I got last year. I am excited because I actually have a promising entry. Then I will see how the hunting goes after that.
