We really thought this cache was amazing. It’s part of zuma’s mile birthday series. It is outside of an extremely small town in north-western WI.

The clues for finding were very, well, interesting. The small cemetery in memory of a WW1 vet is very historical and amazing. It’s an ammo box (twas the first one we discovered) and had some pretty cool swag. (We got a Biker’s Cross..)..

I think it was moved since we found it..but even so, the name’s the same and that was a major clue as to where the cache was with all the tree coverings and whatnot..

Anyways, to make this long story short, it was a pretty amazing cache..

Those of us who live up here would still consider this southwest wisconsin. North doesn’t really start until Highway 29, and our friends to the north would say not until Highway 8 πŸ˜‰ .

We plan on hitting this one this weekend. But being a Bandits cache it’s bound to be good.

I keep hearing so many good things about these Zuma Miles caches. I only wish they weren’t 250 miles from home. πŸ™

I understand that Cheezehead considers Northern Wisconsin to be anything north of Highway 2! πŸ˜†

Yeah, that’s not north at all. Highway 8 at the very southern edge, if that! LOL

But I agree, that was a fascinating place to visit. We visited it before it was moved as well. It may be that it’s still near the site, though. We didn’t get the clue until we walked away from the cache, which made it more fun.

Mile 50 is pretty darn cool, too. Not too far from Mile 49, actually. Maybe one mile away. πŸ˜‰ Excellent four stage multi in a lovely spot.

My cutoff has always been Hwy 10.

I enjoyed Mile 49 as well. Nearby Mile 50, also by the Bandits is even better.

Ah. So it was YOUR log that led us to discover the clue. We were pretty sure we had to go in that way anyway, but your log and the clue just confirmed it..
