OK, the family campground at the park is now full and I’m too lazy to pack up all my camping stuff anyway.

Is anyone else going to be Trudy camping (staying in a hotel/motel)? Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for local lodging?

The closest appears to be the “Driftwood Inn” in Ontario. No website, no information about it from AAA… it could be good, and it could be bad… and I’m really not feeling adventurous enough to try this place out unless someone says it is OK.

I’m leaning towards cashing in at least one free night and staying at the Sleep Inn in Hillsboro. It is about 10 miles from the park and has free wireless Internet and a heated pool…

    Straight from Trudy…
Tomah is about 20 miles north and has a variety of accommodations.

Last time we were by Tomah we stopped by the Holiday Inn and ate at the Perkins..we snooped around; the place is pretty snazzy with a great pool/game room, and it really isn’t that expensive..it’s where the 5 of us are staying!! 🙂

There is a motel in Hillsboro also not sure what it is but a major change I think. Only about 10miles away
