Well, doesn’t it just figure–about 10 days out of warranty and the Palm quits.
It’s a Palm Z2. We were using it to check some notes we had left to help us log our most current finds. I used the stylus to go to another screen and the entire screen went blank.
Even though we knew the battery should still have a lot of life left, we thought to plug it in to charge it, because it always boots when it gets a charge. But, not this time.
Has anyone had a similar problem and know what we can try? Or, can someone give us direction on how we can figure out what the problem might be? It’s been so dependable and a true caching godsend over the past few months, we can’t imagine caching without it.
Thanks
froggerz
Do you mean Z22? I have the Z22 and it has a reset button on the back. Try pushing that. When my Ipod locks up the reset always unlocks it. Good luck.
Yes it is a Z22. Oops.
We have it in a case and didn’t realize there was a reset button on the back. Sure enough, that seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the tip.
Be careful about running your batteries all the way down to the point of it not working … I suggest you read this article that I wrote about PDA batteries in the past:

In addition, while your PDA does work someone also mentioned a person that does PDA repair. I ended up using him to fix the headphone jack on the PDA and the work was done quickly and at a reasonable cost.
here is that info again for those who might need it.
