Once again Dave does good.
When rsplash40 had 21 FTFs in two days this summer he kind of laid down an FTF challenge and egged me on with the chase for being the first guinea pig on some new caches. It’s been fun to go for them and have the chance to discover something really unique or interesting that you haven’t heard about before. There are also hazards like being the first to not find and the first to look for longer than one should when an eager to publish owner hasn’t yet had the time to put the container out. Then there are those wonderful 1.5 terrain caches that turn out to be in a newly formed swamp due to heavy rains that no one could have believed possible at placement.
And just in case any stat might go to ones head, there are humbling moments to consider, like when I was sitting next to zuma! at the WGA geopicnic this summer when, in a friendly conversation, he asked me how many I had. I told him I had 80 something at that point and, of course, asked him how many he had…… Enough said. It is a great adventure and always good to keep the proper perspective as you go. Thanks for the nod and all those new caches!
Sagasu: Continue to enjoy the hunt, FTF or not!
Wow. Does zuma need to worry about this? 😉
Seriously, congratulations on truly being an “early bird,” Dave.
Congrats…that is simply amazing!
congratulations on your night caching and early morning adventures!
Keep on having fun
Hey Dave,
A big congrats on getting 100 FTFs!!!!! There always seems to be a lil something special about getting to sign a clean log sheet, and findng a cache without a cacher’s trail!!!

Congrats Dave…I still think he doesn’t sleep.
