OK I know some of you have made the trip to Disney with the kids.
If you made the trip did you also make a bookmark list of caches you wanted to see on the way down. (Ya Driving with the van full of kids.)
If you didn’t bookmark any can you at least recommend some caches between here and there? Will be going the Chattanooga, Nashville, Atlanta route.
I can’t recomend any on the way, as we’ve flown both times. But there are TONS of good caches in the area around the parks. In fact there are many virtuals inside the parks.
Have fun at Disney, and make sure you bring pleanty of $$$! We easily spent twice what we thought we would. Ever paid $3 for a can of soda? How about $4 for a bottle of water? The water that comes out of the water bubblers down there is yellow green. Ewww.
This thread is a little “stale”, but we’re going to visit Mickey and Friends at Disney World before the end of the year. Just wondering if anyone has any input on streamlining the search process. We’re staying on site which means we’ll only have access inside the park. I found a site the other day that talked about some Disney benchmarks, but I’ll have to dig that back up. Maybe this thread can become the “Disney cache list”, we’ll see.
Disney does not allow caches on property, but here is a book mark for a couple virtual caches on Disney property. http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=b3c6019f-c480-4241-a36f-9b4d960d52c2 This might be a good place to start. Have Fun.
