Has anyone gone to the Bodyworlds exhibit in Milwaukee? I (Mrs. TE) have been invited to go to Bodyworks3 in Kansas City in March and was wondering what others thought. I sm intrigued

Maybe one of us could donate our body for a geocaching exhibit to be added, as it looks like they are looking for more donations of bodies.

I went to Bodyworlds 1 in Minneapolis in 2006. I thought it was great, as did my spouse and two children. I’d love to go to one that includes animals as well.

We went to “BODIES… The Exhibition” (http://www.tropicanalv.com/ent_bodies.asp) at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.

It was fascinating. After we saw ads for the exhibition in Milwaukee we considered going again.

I saw Body Worlds when it was in Chicago. It was amazing, beautiful, creepy, disturbing, wonderful….a million other words. Don’t miss it! I may go see it again in Milwaukee.

There was this one part of the show which displayed an overweight woman (probably thinner than I was at the time though). It seriously looked like she was made of bacon. Right then and there I made the decision that I needed to start losing weight. So it obviously had an effect on me. And I’m not that comfortable eating bacon anymore either…

We just went there yesterday. It was trully a learnig experience. The exhibits were just amazing.

We brought TDSKid with, who is 9, and were not sure if he would like it, even though it was his idea to go. He was facinated the entire time. time. The exhibit is trully for everyone.

Make sure you get your tickets in advance!

That is good to know. My friend has a 30 year old handicapped daughter. On some levels she is 7 or 8, others 17 so we were wondering if she could handle it. I did look at the site and ordered some brochures, also a great 14 page handout to learn about the process and some of the displays. Once she looks at those she will be able to decide if she would like it to see them in person.

So were there any figures geocaching? 😆

I wanted to see the exhibit when it was in Chicago but never got there. I’m looking forward to a family jaunt to Milwaukee to see it. This exhibit is part of the reason I was prompted to get a family membership at the Museum this year. 🙂
