Come up to Eagle River for Klondike Days in Feb. There are things to do indoors and outdoors and it is great fun for all ages. There a winery only 10 miles away too.

Have you been to Galena Illinois? Lots of antiques, history, close to the river and I’m sure other things, too.

    Here’s my recommendation:

    1. Pick a cache, about 100 miles from home.
(Since you might need help, let’s say in Iowa)
    2. Plot it into your dash board GPS, and pick the SHORTEST route to the cache.
    3. Drive.

This is guaranteed to take you thru some interesting places.

Here’s my suggestion — visit Richmond, IL. It’s just south of the border from Wisconsin. It’s a cute little town full of little shop and lots of antique stores. Then, head down the road a little way to Volo, IL were there’s a really big antique mall AND an old car museum (I like antiques, but I LOVE the cars!)

There are some caches in the area too.
