I warned people. I told them. I put it right on the cache page, and I quote; “For those of you who detest me or my puzzles, move on”.
But still they came unprepaired for the challenge. Was it frustration? Or was it just someone who wanted FTF so bad that they had to damage my treasure chest.
Whomever you are , you are an a**hole! These puzzles aren’t cheap yaknow, and I’m not a rich man. Someday, all these puzzles were to return to my collection.
Va te faire foutre, trouduc! Pardon my French.
Oh, and congrats to 3Hawks for FTF!!! And thanks for not using tools.

Some people just suck….more likely it was just a bear with some hand tools….or a raccoon; I understand they are quite bright…no I think the raccoon could have just opened it unassisted.
I have had stuff pillaged as well. I set out a cache that played music only to have the recorder go missing after about 7 visits…I guess we all just roll the dice and hope for the kindness and honesty of others….most people are good…and some are mostly good with a bad day of evil doings thrown in to remind them that they are not perfect.
Thank you for all of the hard work you’ve put into the Riddler series of caches. They have all been a blast!! None of the puzzle boxes required the use of any tools to open and only one required a tool to get at the log, but that was after the box was opened.
Luckily, whoever damaged the surface of Riddler’s Treasure Chest decided to call it quits and stopped short of breaking the container.
Hey Jay, did you know that your post above contains a hint to solving the puzzle for the coords?

Hmmm. So it does. 8)
Glad you’re enjoying the series. That was number 10 BTW! I had to make it a hard one.
it is hard! I’m still trying to figure out the coordinates…dang it. 😀 But I really love the series. Glad you are doing it!
