I chose this one for my first posting.. bulding large or small Model Airplanes… some motorized … some just for fun.

Big show off with this large model (where are the kids) … Have you ever tackled one this big? … Any others Dad?

…and I sit home this weekend trying to figure out how to get out of building a cardboard castle for a school project…I want to know when the assignments were assigned to the parents and not to the kids…How did this happen and what’s the point. Yes they say the kids are to do it but on big projects for young children when does that actually happen? My daughter and I compromised and are building the room of the Knights of the Round Table.

A couple of months ago I had to build Lambeau field for my son…of course we made Brett twice as large as the rest of the players on the field 😈

Here is one project that took three Dads and more than one six-pack. The Kids didn’t mind… you can see it their faces.

Yes, it’s an old Bumper Car salvage from that famous Palisades Amusement Park in NJ. Ever been there?

It took these three guys and several serious consulation meetings to get started.

The final finished project and the kids enjoying it was the prize, don’t you think? There job was to keep it in prime condition for a show and tell project at school…
    …Lots more projects out there… start looking!… 8) … 8)

Kids and Family building projects always great fun… This one was done to use for Spring and Summer fishing and boating interests.

Rule #1 don’t build them in the basement …had to dismantle and move the project outside … and get some family help.

I then got some family help …finally three weeks and later and lots of refreshments consumed .. it was done.

Will show show you the launching next time… Anyone else try building a rowboat … or even a larger one?
