          I hate to steal the thunder from the forthcoming newsletter, but four referendums have been posted recently. The Board would like to know the opinion of the membership on the following topics before making some important decisions:

          – 2008 Wisconsin geocoins
          – Logging of temporary geocache finds at WGA events
          – Choosing a date for the WGA Geo-Picnic
          – Procedures for WGA bylaws changes

          Go to the Referendums module and cast your votes before April 14th!

                    Was the last day for voting actually the 13th? I just saw this, and went to vote, and got this message.

                      Sorry for the confusion. Voting was done at midnight, last night.

                      If it is any consolation, there were no close referendums, so a single vote would not have changed the outcome. There was excellent participation.

                        Sorry about this.

                        The close date/time of the referendums was set to 4/14/2008 00:00:00… midnight of 4/13 transitioning to 4/14, or put another way, the first second of 4/14. Next time I will make sure these times are set to something that makes more sense, like 4/13/2008 23:59:00.

                            This is currently under discussion, but I would expect you will see something fairly soon.
