OK…..I am sitting at 96 finds so far and I have a dilemma.
I was thinking about taking a slow couple of weeks so that I can log the Camp-out as my 100th log.
How can I hold back for two weeks, especially with my NEW GPSr and bike?? I need suggestions.
05/04/2008 at 2:45 am #1888746OH Boy! that is a problem! I’d say go get ’em and shoot for 200 at the camp out!
05/04/2008 at 2:59 am #1888747That was my second option…..but I don’t think my work schedule will allow it…
But I am glad that SOMEONE had that same idea.
05/04/2008 at 3:58 am #1888748I have a simple solution to the problem… KNEE SURGERY! I’m still finding it difficult to do the grocery shopping and I had surgery 6 weeks ago. Although, I do have about 50 puzzles solved so when I do get back out there, I’ll have plenty to find.
05/04/2008 at 4:07 am #1888749I know knee surgery…..that is how I got all fat and lazy in the first place!

Call in sick! Tell them ya have cachefeverities. Cuz that’s what it sounds to me. Where’s Doc. or elfdoctors? I’m sure one of them will right ya a note.
05/04/2008 at 4:59 am #1888751unfortunately this is still a newish job and I can’t pull a call in sick excuse so close to my upcoming raise point…..
but keep the ideas coming!
05/04/2008 at 6:08 am #1888752Here is a different concept: geocache when you want, where you want, as much as you want. Don’t worry about milestones, numbers and the like. They will take care of themselves. Just get out in the woods and have fun!

Puzzles! Now that is a good use of one’s time….
Happy hunting them all, eventually.

We are with Deejay on this. The one-hundred milestone is big to you now, and it should be, but why not plan it for the cache of a friend or a nearby “Classic” that will be around long after the event is history. ~tb

I agree also. Just go out and do it. I knew I was close to my 100th but was just out getting them where I could. It just happens that my 100th find was at a very cool little park North of Siren. Just go have fun and enjoy the hunt.
05/05/2008 at 3:23 am #1888757Too many nice days ahead to refrain from geocaching. We’re coming up on 100, too, but haven’t even thought about what we want to do for that. Just looking ahead to the next one . . .
05/05/2008 at 4:38 am #1888758Yeah. That’d drive me nuts. I spent all day today (yesterday was kinda crappy) working around the house and in the yard. Got to be around 7ish and I went next door to have a beer with the next door neighbor in his back yard. 7:30ish I come home and we had to at least run out and try. So, we took an unsuccessful start at one, but found 3 more stages of s|s’s Duplicate Bridge Tournament.
I’d love to save that one for our #100 as well, but I know there’s no way I’m going to be able to leave those last 2 alone for that long.
05/05/2008 at 3:34 pm #1888759That is a TOUGH one! Seldom went over the top for that one (In a GOOD way! funny that you mentioned that since I JUST nominated that for cache of the month)
Well anyway, my problem was aided yesterday when I broke my new GPSr. well, not the WHOLE thing, just the clip that holds on the battery cover. SO I got on the phone with garmin and have a new battery cover on the way, but I am OOC for a few days.
