….78 straight days of finding at least one cache for us. I know there are some other teams with far more impressive streaks, and our hat’s off to you! It’s a lot of work to keep that kind of streak alive, at least down here. Might have been easier if we weren’t so “seasoned,’ but we were almost out of caches within our 50 mile radius, anyway (we have five, and one’s disabled), and decided it was time to end it.

It’s kind of nice to just do other stuff after work now. Even though work ends in a couple of days! LOL

Hey, now that you will have more spare time, perhaps you can start a new streak. Maybe we’ll have to plant a cache-a-day for you guys. Our son-in-law’s team in High Point, NC did that for a month. So, I know it can be done. All us “locals” will have to work on it.

NOOOOOO!!!!! Let us get those last four caches in our area first, so Trekkin’ can be done with that goal and move on! LOL

78 Days! Wow! I would be happy with 7 or 8 days in a row.

Congrats on the long streak….I have tried to put together streaks, and it is just too hard to do for me, given I work 12-13 hour shifts, so I am real impressed.

    I think I have a streak of 4 or 5 days.
    Yours is an impressive feet.

Very impressive πŸ˜€ We have difficulty stringing together any more that four or five days; there are just too many other things going on. Now, If I would just retire, I might have greater opportunity to pursue such a lofty goal. ~tb

Very impressive. We’d be happy to get two days in a row. With an active 9 year old, there’s just never the time. πŸ˜₯

ThatÒ€ℒs especially impressive when you have cleaned out and area Γ’β‚¬β€œ getting a cache daily means driving a significant distance to get it. How much money did you spend on gas to accomplish this?

      Great job!

πŸ˜€ Great job. Okay shameless plug….. 😳 come to West Bend Cache Bash and get 50 in a weekend (or a day – if you can!) 😯
I think I lost my chance to go out the last couple of weeks and now the skeeters are terrible. πŸ™

More than we’d like to think about, although we really tried to be smart about our driving for caches. It is a bit of a relief to let it go, though. I have no idea how some of you have managed in the HUNDREDS of days, THAT is incredible!

Congrats on the streak, Gwyn and Dick! And on ending it! I remember how tough it got for me when I was running out of caches in the Fox Valley after trying to hold off on some to keep the streak alive. I’d burn one to get the daily find and then an FTF opportunity would come up in a couple hours. Decisions, decisions. Though some of my closest friends were almost teary-eyed when I finally called it a day last August, I got more congrats for finally giving it up and getting back to a normal life. Now I only have the weekly lonely cache fix to worry about. lol! Congrats again, as that streak had me eating your dust on the Grand High Pobah board for the first time since I looked at it. Well done!

I think you answered your own question there. Active 9 year old LOVE walking in the woods looking for stuff! πŸ™‚
