This is a really nice cache in a pretty woods – funny that many of the usual suspects around Madison haven’t found it yet. If you hide a few more it will make it more worth the gas to drive down and you’ll get more visitors. There just aren’t many newer caches in the area that they haven’t gotten yet.

if you hide them, they will come.

3 finders in 6 days isn’t too bad. I am sure that as that area of the state dries out a bit more, there will be more seekers.

congrats on your first placement and thanks for adding to the fun 😀 😀

Don’t get too discouraged. With all of the flooding that we have had over the last week or so, I am sure that there is a lot more on people’s minds than caching. There has been a number of caches in my area that I have been wanting to get to, but I will have to put off until the ground dries out some and maybe even the skeeter population starts dropping.

I will get it soon. Just waiting for the ground to dry a little.

You got that right. I have found one cache so far this month…flooding and roof issues have kept me busy…I have been sitting at 1,699 for nearly two weeks and unless someone places a cache along my way to work I don’t see picking up that next milestone for some time yet.

Be glad that people can get to your cache right now. I have eight caches that are either under water or blocked by water and it looks like it maybe a few weeks before I can get to them to check if they are still there.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I tried to do some caches in the local hunting grounds and got one but ideas feel like wading through water to the others. The water has been frustrating for everyone including me. My heart goes out to all who have lost things with all this flooding.

I just want some people to come out and get the nice stuff I put in that can 😉

I do plan on placing some more someday. I’m just trying to think up some idea’s and good places.

Hey, we have four new ones that have been out since Friday–no hits yet. (SadowskiFamily is out of the state.) Four FTFs waiting…

At least five new caches near us, nine in the Coloma series out less than a month, none under water…time for a run to the Highway 21 exit off of I-39 or a nice day trip for a break from the Dells, if you’re there.

It could be worse. You could have placed a new cache on November 30, 2007, and had it been under snow till mid-April (unless it was in the Appleton area!).
