        The best part of the log is this little classic line:

        the worst experience of my adult life

        I am sure this is exactly what Dave had intended when he placed this cache 🙂

        He’s probably out there right now trying to determine what went wrong for this cacher and how to potentially correct the situation.

        This is a fun cache to read about but I am positive it will stay in the same category for me for a long long time (Not Found Caches).

          I’m sure there was no problem with the cache. The problem was with the cacher seeking it. 😕 I simply chose the wrong route.
          If I didn’t live 80 miles away, I would be out there every day looking for the best way to attack it.

            Good luck on the repeat attack. Of course, if ya want til December the terrain rating will probably be more like a 2.

                  There you go! I’m laughing out loud on that one!

                  I still have to finish solving this stinker, but from hearing your experiences, I guess my plan of trying to get it between storytelling appearances up that way in September is probably not a good one.

                  Although I was hired for my Tricksters and Fools program….which might be very appropriate in this case. You can decide which one is the trickster and which the fool!

                      I think having one of these would be the ticket to get to this cache.

                      In fact, it would be ideal as a caching tour vehicle!

                        Oh Yeah!!! I’m not sure how useful one of those would have been on SSSS, but I can think of quite a few caches where it would be!
                        Hmmm… none for sale on eBay…
