For the past 3 days I’ve been receiving my regular emails from GC.com for caches found, watch list items and so-on. But about 1/3rd of them have been showing up completely blank. Has this happened to anyone else?

I think some body is playing a joke on you… Hmmmm now that would be kinda funny. To receive many emails, that have no text. lol 😈

Odd thing is, all my other emails are fine. Only the ones from GC are affected. 😕

It might be Seldom|Seen doing some advertising for a new puzzle?

I think I solved the problem. I use Outlook Express for email, and noticed my encoding was set to “Unicode UTm-8”. I have no idea if that’s how it always was or not, but changing the encoding to “Western European” made my email texts from GC.com reappear.

I’m thinking the encoding may have been changed during a windows update just the other day. Wouldn’t surprise me. Although I still find it odd that this happened only on GC.com emails.

    Oh well, problem solved.

Sorry for being such a smartaleck, tydye, it would have bothered me to no end as it did you, but I didn’t have an answer and it was too good to pass up.
