I have 2 questions as a new cacher who may attend do you need to get a 1 day pass for the park? and also if you plan on going to the after picnic party the next day will the pass be good yet or would you have to get a 2 day pass?
Thanks ahead of time
Lapham Peak is a state park. You will need a sticker or pass to be there (unless you park somewhere else and walk in, I guess). I know they have 1 day passes, but I’m not sure if they have 2-day ones. You can buy an annual sticker too — but not sure if it’s worth it this late in the year.

Edited to add in link to State park admission:
fees
If you are REALLY too cheap to pay the daily admission to the park, there are several places you can park and hike in. The easiest is probably
N43° 03.103 W88° 24.840
which is on Cushman Park Road, about 1.5 miles from the site as the crow flies. Quite a few caches on the way over.
You can also park just off of 18 at
N 43 00.769, W 88 23.863
and hike in on the Ice Age Trail from the south. Looks like about a 3 mile hike to me.
