For those of you who do not know what these terms are it simply is getting a found cache in everyone of the 81 possible terrain & difficulties combinations.
Being that I am somebody who has completed the Delorme challenge and the Wisconsin counties challenge this is something that I consider to be a greater challenge.

Tonite I saw the signals coming out of the LaX area indicating that the team of Trekkin & Birdin have completed this challenge (and have done the nearest final for this type of Challenge in Minnesota).

To one of the nicest teams of cachers one could wish to meet, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Way to go T&B! I knew this was one of your many goals and that you were getting close. Congrats!!!

Wow, more messages out of LaX..T&B snag the Badger State Challenge – 72 Counties..Nice 2 day take down of big target caches

Wow T&B another big Milestone. Congrats!!!

Yikes, what kind of new challenge will I hear about next?!! Oh, well, we have quicksand with snowshoes waiting for you… Congrats again, Dick and Gwyn!

Congratulations guys. Hmmm… What other challenges? Well, Minnesota has a county seat challenge, and there are a bunch of century challenges in other states (find 100 of a cache type). There are alphabet soup challenges where you have to find a cache starting with each letter of the alphabet, and I’m sure plenty of others if you poke around enough.

Just want to echo my congrats to Trekkin and Birdin on getting the Blackout. Getting all 81 D/T possibilities is quite a feat. Way to go.

As far as I know, you and Passing Wind are the only Wisconsin cachers to complete the Blackout, though I have to guess that the Ecorangers and BQ are close, and I know Team Honeybunnies are close. I just checked, and I have 6 left to go to complete the challenge.

First congrats on the feat to T&B!!!

Second…how do I check for my own level of blackoutness….keeping in mind I do not use GSAK.

Upload your “myfinds” PQ to inatn.com and then check it. Or, some nice person might actually do it for you…. Link See what you get for publishing your stats in a public website…

Congratulations, Trekkin’ and Birdin’! If there were any 6 or 7 rated caches, you would have knocked off those, too.

Now we need some people in the–oh, say…Appleton? area to come up with a challenge that might take you guys more than a few days to complete! 😉

I think that challegne would be to do all the caches in Wisconsin..but give them time 😀

Thanks everyone, we sure had fun getting there. It forced us to discover and go after some really great cache adventures to fill up our holes.

Let’s see—Appleton area challenges? Stay tuned. I got home late from my storytelling gig/caching adventures near Appleton. I’ll finish logging tomorrow! 😉
