If you can help out this person, please let me know and I’ll give you contact information. I am going out of town on Friday, but will be back on Monday.
Dear Ms. Waldman,
I come to you because you are President of the Wisconsin Geocaching
association, so I figure someone in your group can point me to the
correct gear & software, etc. for what I want to do.I want to mark certain sites in Colonial Park, in Racine, for
evaluation with respect to our program of removing invasives, etc., etc.I would like to have a map of the Park, where I could mark spots with
the coordinates. I can buy a GPS hand held device that will read out
the coordinates whenever I push a button, true? What I don’t know
about is where to get a map of the Park that is marked with
coordinates so I can put in those points on it correctly. I also
suspect that I can upload those points to a computer, if I have the
right drivers, etc.Can you, or someone in your group living near Racine, help me out
with the getting started part of this?Sincerely,
Jay
Thanks in advance!
Bec
Send them my way, Becky. Looks like a job for USA Photomaps.
Thank you! PM sent.
