      Hi all,

      My wife and I are in the planning stages of starting a Venturing Crew in the Sheboygan area which will revolve around Geocaching, camping, hiking, and outdoors activities.

      What is Venturing?? Venturing is a coed program established by the Boy Scouts of America for young adults 14-21 years old, and who are in 8th grade. Venturing offers similar advancement opportunities to Boy Scouts and also gives young adults a chance to learn important leadership skills.

      If you know of young adults in the Sheboygan area that might be interested in joining our Venturing Crew please PM me.

        There is another Venture Geoteam that I know of but it is in Michigan 4485 the leaders Geocaching name is Koda.

          Good luck with your Crew. Camp Ohdakota (SE Wisconsin Council) has a bunch of Scouting geocaches. That’s be a good destination for your new Crew.

            I just saw the word “crew” in the title of this thread and it caught my eye, because when our family goes out caching together, we’re known as Crockett’s Caching Crew. That’s how we sign all of the logs we come across.

              Just a clarification… kids need to have graduated the 8th grade. The age is actually 14-20. Once they reach 21 they will be adults according to BSA.

                ahhh … I was starting to wonder how many times you we’re allowed to take 8th grade over again 🙂

                  You are correct, guess I was a little more tired than I thought when I typed that.
