My good buddy, DJ slowly crept to 2k, making that milestone in the last few days–congrats (and thanks for letting me get there first!!).
It’s good to see a person wearing so many *hats* in the geocaching society have a chance to get out there and grab the caches too!

Well done! Good to see you get to that milestone. I sometimes wondered how you were going to find time while doing so much to bring the Lonely Cache Game dimension to our geocaching experience in Wisconsin. Thanks again, and hearty congrats on the 2K!

Way to go! I hope more geocachers learn how much time and dedication you and all of the other volunteers put in making the rest of able to go out any time and enjoy the game. I always feel good when I see your logs and know that you still have some time avaiable to get out in the field.

Thanks everyone. As far as the milestone cache goes, it ended up being this one: GC1JD25. The intent was for it to be GCMW0M , but with the granddaughter and the son-in-law in tow, we miscounted and ended up making it 2001. Considering this cache was quite an odyssey, that seems somehow appropriate.
