We are hoping that we get enough snow to go snowmobiling. Does anyone have caches that can be done by snowmobile?

There are several on the Wild Goose Trail, which runs from Fond du Lac south to Clyman in Dodge County. It is 34 miles long and is a rails-to-trails for ATV and snowmobile use. It skirts the west side of the Horicon Marsh. There are about 12 caches that I can think of.

There are quite a few in the Eagle River area but Sparse Grey Hackle would be better than I at telling you which ones. We just snowshoe to them ourselves.

I have a bookmark for snowmobile caches if anyone wants to add to it.

    Yikes!

Sorry for the slow response here TE we just put the sleds away last week.
This is our first weekend of the year NOT doing any
    ‘Snomocaching’ in the Nort Woods

And, some caches were done using BOTH snow shoes, sleds and oh yes….some real half-stepping to GZ with the Blondie Bloodhound.

This year we added a RAM mount for the GPSr which really was a nice addition and a safety item (for driving) that worked out very nice for us.

Another GREAT WINTER for Snomocaching in the Nort Woods!
