The WGA Board has chosen High Cliff State Park (south of Appleton on the eastern shore of Lake Winnebago) as the location for the 8th annual Geo-Campout. The event will take place the weekend of May 15-17.

Specific activities will be announced this winter. Registration for the event, including camping in the group campsites, will also become available in early 2009. We do have the ability to accommodate a limited number of wheeled camping units (pop ups, travel trailers) on the large group sites this year. If this interests you, please contact Jeremy (jvechinski) so we can get a count for planning purposes; alternatively, the family campground in the park will be open in May and many sites are still available.

As with all WGA events, the WGA is looking for local help planning and executing this event. If you would like to volunteer for the Campout Committee, contact a Board member.
