We’re hosting an event in March in Viroqua. March 14. 9AM Main Street Station, Caffeine and Caching, the sequel.
Although an event is social, and this one is, if folks are interested in visiting the ice cave earthcache we put out in the Kickapoo Reserve. we’d be glad to do that after the event. It’s about a mile hike on fairly level ground, amazingly. The trails are pretty well tramped down, too.
Last year it was absolutely spectacular. Not only was the front covered by a thick curtain, but a second, perpendicular “room divider” curtain had formed. I hope maybe on one of my days off to check it out prior to the event, but otherwise, it will be a new experience this year along with everyone else.
Every place in that reserve is spectacular. Worth the exercise to see…
