I am also a member of another outdoors website for Hunting and fishing in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I just wanted to make a drop for the website. Everyone is welcome and its free to be a member. Come on in and check it out. We are all here to learn from one another so all hunting and fishing stories, hints and tips are welcome! Here is the site:

I hope to see some of you there. I go by “Billy the Kid” there.

I am also a member of the Minnesota Geocaching forum and am active in geocaching. I do not get over to Wisconsin much anymore since my Grandparents past away but I have found a few geocaches there and they were some nice ones. We also did a few motorcycle rides out by Siren to Oakland and and back around to Grantsburg. Beautiful ride in the Fall. Anyways, I hope you check out our forums.

I’d be interested to hear your definition of “extreme outdoor sports.” Hunting and fishing aren’t usually placed in that category. I think of sports like rock climbing, white water kayaking, sky diving, mountain biking, etc.

Okay, I’ll give you that!! 😆 Hmmm. I guess you could say that being in the outdoors whether it be from around here or any where else is some Extreme. Only in the aspect that there are dangers in the outdoors. Wild Squirrels and the like. LOL There are dangers in the outdoors. Ice fishing and open water fishing have dangers of drowning, hypothermea.(SP) Hunting runs you a small risk of getting shot! Thats Extreme. OUCH. Some geocahing is Extreme. I found this cache GCQF3T Called Silver Island Treasure. That was some what Extreme. Climbing and rock jumping were required. Lots of things can be Extreme to different people.

There are some mornings in Wisconsin where just going out and get your car started qualifies as an extreme outdoor activity. 😯

I could not agree with you more. And never try getting into a cold truck with wet hands. That hurts!!
